flapper doodle pillows & eye masks

I'm not sure if these are going to be permanent fixtures in my shop yet, but I made prototypes and they are available for purchase in my etsy shop -- Flapper Doodle cushion set ($35) and Flapper Doodle eye mask ($12)

new eyemask pictures (again!!)

Just a few minor changes to the eye mask design -- I figured out how to sew it up the back, instead of the side, which gives it a seamless look from the front now. And I also used a thinner, stretchier elastic cord so it's more comfortable. Also, price drop from $20 (the original hand-embroidered eye mask design) to $12 now that I'm printing the eyes directly onto the fabric :)

crazy new product!

Sometimes I just get really strange ideas and decide to make them on a whim... that was completely the case with this new product. I needed a new eye mask since mine went mysteriously missing last week, and thought, "hey, why not make a flapper doodle eye mask?!"

They are made with four layers to keep the light out - three cotton and one satiny material for the back. The eyes are hand-embroidered (hello, new hobby!) and the whole thing was whipped up by me on my sewing machine, which I am FINALLY getting the hang of :)
