I've had quite a few requests recently for modified versions of the BFF pendant sets, for groups of friends instead of just two. So now you can buy connector pendants! Just add this onto the regular set, and it expands the chain by one. You can add as many connectors as you like, and they'll all match up :) They're available here.

Sweater clips & new BFF pendants

I'm so excited about this new item! I had it in my head for a while, and thanks to some help from my mom, who is a wizard at tinkering with little jewelry pieces, it's a reality :) They're sweater clips to keep your cardigan closed, and the chain forms the telephone link between the two flappers! Also I have new BFF pendants in the shop. It seems like I've been having trouble finding the right pendant supplies/jewelry supplier for over a year now, but I think I finally did it! I love these so much. They're just perfect... very sturdy, and I love the bronze color. I only have 3 sets in stock right now, then they'll be on 2 week backorder while I wait for the next supply shipment (I ordered a TON of them so hopefully they'll never be out of stock again :) They're available here!

BFF Embroideries!

Trying to come up with the perfect gift for your BFF? Sister? Twin? Long distance friend? Look no further!! I now have PDF Patterns in my shop for an embroidery version of my telephone print set! It makes for a really thoughtful handmade gift, and (I can say firsthand since I made the set in the photos) it's pretty darn easy to whip up! The PDF includes instructions, close up-photos of the completed product and the patterns. And best of all? It's only $5 :-)

Mirrors, buttons and pendants, oh my!

I made a set of buttons out of my photo booth strip drawing! I'm so smitten with this idea, especially the way that I packaged it, with the buttons sitting on a photo booth strip! :D Available in my shop HERE.

The pendants got one more (and hopefully the last) revamp ... my jewelry supplier discontinued yet another one of my pendant blanks, so I finally switched suppliers (this was the third time she discontinued the one thing I ordered from her, so I figured with my luck the next one I ordered would get discontinued too, lol) and ordered these new ones! I liked my last ones a tiny bit better, but I love these too! I'm ordering like 500 of them so that I don't have to go through this again anytime soon, haha! :) They're available in the shop here -> Eloise and Ramona // Zelda and Becky

I also added four new pocket mirror designs to the shop!! I persist in trying to sell pocket mirrors even though they've never been a big seller for me. But I really think the flapper drawings work well on mirrors, so I'm giving it another go! Maybe one of these designs will finally take off :) They're available in the shop HERE.

Finally, I added personalized bridesmaid pocket mirrors to my shop! They're perfect if you're ordering the matching cards, or they're great on their own as cute little wedding favors! They even have the wedding information -- bride + groom, and wedding date -- inscribed on the side! Available in my shop HERE.

Oh, and I'm busy finishing up my 2012 calendar! I posted a sneak peek on my personal blog last week, if you're interested! It's inspired by Edward Gorey, and I'm super happy with how it's coming along!! Hopefully I'll get to share the finished product by the end of the week. :)

My jewelry supplier discontinued the square pendants that I used to sell, so I purchased these as a replacement -- and I actually like them about 100 times as much as my old square ones!! What a happy accident! :D These are available in my shop here.

compact mirrors, new pendants and a giveaway, oh my!!!

First up, I have a giveaway over at Good Day Sunshine! You can enter to win my 2011 calendar! It's a $20 value, and all you have to do is leave a comment, so what have you got to lose? :-)

Next -- compact mirrors!! These are very different from the mirrors that I sold last year, which were basically buttons with a mirrored back. These are actual compacts, that open to two mirrors on the inside: one normal and one magnifying. They're really substantial pieces and not flimsy like most pocket mirrors. As someone who throws things in my purse and rummages through the clutter on a daily basis, I need a mirror that can be knocked around a lot & these seem to fit the bill! Available in my shop here.



I've also redesigned (again) the BFF telephone pendant sets! I have two sets of the old ones left, and I've reduced the price to $10 a set since I'm discontinuing them. This is what they used to look like, with a really tiny hook and saw-tooth edges. (The remaining sets are available here).

Quick note about pending BFF necklace orders!

There is a small delay in BFF necklace orders going out. I've been awaiting a shipment of supplies that hasn't arrived yet. But the minute it arrives at my doorstep I'll scurry to get all of the orders produced, packed and shipped in an instant! I was hoping it would get here today, but I just checked the mailbox and my supplies were sadly absent... hopefully they'll be here tomorrow!! I'm including some extras with each order to make up for the inconvenience! :)

The new ice cream necklace set can be used either as a BFF set, with two people sharing the necklaces, or you could keep both for yourself!
